Prelude

Welcome

Scripture Reading: Jude 24-25

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

‘Rejoice, the Lord is King’

Rejoice the Lord is King Your Lord and King adore.

Rejoice give thanks and sing and triumph evermore.

Lift up your heart lift up your voice rejoice again I say rejoice.

Jesus the Savior reigns the God of truth and love.

When He had purged our stains He took His seat above.

Lift up your heart lift up your voice rejoice again I say rejoice.

His kingdom cannot fail, He rules o’er earth and Heav’n.
The keys of death and hell Are to our Jesus giv’n.
Lift up your heart, lift up your voice; rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

Rejoice!  Rejoice!  Rejoice!

Rejoice in glorious hope our Lord the Judge shall come.

And take His servants up to their eternal home.

Lift up your heart lift up your voice rejoice again I say rejoice.

We lift our hearts, we lift our voice. Again we say rejoice, rejoice, rejoice.

We will give thanks in glorious voice.

Again we say rejoice, rejoice, rejoice.

Instrumental

We lift our hearts, we lift our voice. Again we say rejoice, rejoice, rejoice.

We will give thanks in glorious voice.

Prayer

Scripture Reading: Psalm 25:4-5

All: Make me to know Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day long.

‘It is the Cry of My Heart’

It is the cry of my heart to follow You.

It is the cry of my heart to be close to You.

It is the cry of my heart to follow, all of the days of my life.

Teach me Your holy ways, oh Lord, so I can walk in Your truth.

Teach me Your holy ways, oh Lord and make me wholly devoted to You.

Chorus

Open my eyes so I can see the wonderful things that You do.

Open my heart up more and more and make it wholly devoted to You.

Chorus

Scripture Reading: Romans 12:1-2a; Luke 9:23b

Women: I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

Men: Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind

All: If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me.

‘Only One Life’

Only one life to offer, Jesus, my Lord and King.
Only one tongue to praise Thee and of Thy mercy sing.
Only one heart’s devotion, Savior, O may it be,
consecrated alone to Thy matchless glory yielded fully to Thee.

Only this hour is mine, Lord, may it be used for Thee.
May every passing moment, count for eternity.
Souls all about are dying, dying in sin and shame.
Help me bring them the message of Calv’ry’s redemption,

in Thy glorious name.

Only one life to offer, take it, dear Lord, I pray.
Nothing from Thee withholding, Thy will I now obey.
Thou who hast freely given, Thine all in all for me.
Claim this life for Thine own to be used, my Savior

ev’ry moment for Thee.

Message Title: ‘Jesus; Our Savior, Lord, Example’      Text: 1 John 2:1-6

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we

have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. Whoever says “I know Him” but does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is

not in him, but whoever keeps His word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in Him: whoever says he abides in Him ought to walk in the same way in which He walked.

‘You Are’

You are my one and only Lord. You are the Great I am.

You are my joy, my shining star. You are.

You are my hope my heart’s desire, in You I find my strength.

You are my peace my resting place. You are. You are.

And with my mind, my soul and my heart,

Lord I praise You for who You are.

Yes with my mind my soul and my heart,

I praise You for who You are.

You are my one and only Lord. You are the Great I am.

You are my joy, my shining star. You are.

You are my hope my heart’s desire, in You I find my strength.

You are my peace my resting place…… You are. You are.

Scripture Reading: 1 Peter 2:9-10

All: But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

‘His Mercy is More’

Praise the Lord! His mercy is more.
Stronger than darkness, new every morn.

Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more.

What love could remember no wrongs we have done.
Omniscient, all-knowing, He counts not their sum.
Thrown into a sea without bottom or shore.
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more.

Praise the Lord! His mercy is more.
Stronger than darkness, new every morn.
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more.

What patience would wait as we constantly roam.
What Father, so tender, is calling us home.
He welcomes the weakest, the vilest, the poor.
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more.

Chorus

What riches of kindness He lavished on us.
His blood was the payment, His life was the cost.
We stood ‘neath a debt we could never afford.
Our sins, they are many, His mercy is more.

Chorus (2 x’s)

Matt Boswell  CCLI#1274918

Offering / Prayer                ‘Doxology-Amen’

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Praise Him all creatures here below.

Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts. Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

A – a – men, A – a – men, A – a – men.

God, we praise You. God, we praise You.

Praise God for all that He has done. Praise Him for He has  overcome.

The grave is beaten, love has won. Praise God our Savior, Christ the Son.

Chorus
