"You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore."

— Psalm 16:11

Many of us often seek happiness in fleeting moments, hoping to find it in circumstances, achievements, or comfort. But since life can change suddenly, those sources sometimes leave us feeling empty. Remember, true and lasting joy comes from within and isn't dependent on outside factors.

True joy isn't just a fleeting feeling; it's a steady and reassuring truth that's rooted in God. This Psalm gently reminds us that true fullness of joy resides in God's presence, and it's something that doesn't depend on our circumstances at any given moment.

Spending time with God can really change how you see things. You'll discover true joy and peace just by being close to Him. Today, consider pausing your search for temporary happiness and instead turn your heart toward God. Relax in His presence and let His joy fill your heart with warmth and happiness.

Lord, I humbly ask for Your forgiveness for chasing after fleeting joys. Please draw me nearer to You today. Fill my heart with the joy that lasts, a joy only Your presence can give. Amen.

Wishing you Joy Unspeakable,

Gene
