Consider the Apostle Paul’s words in Romans 8:37-39—37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Paul reminds us of God's unwavering love for us, especially during difficult trials. While going through these trials isn't enjoyable, looking back, we realize how much we've grown in our faith journey. This passage highlights that through Christ, the believer is “more than a conqueror." The challenges we encounter don’t defeat us; instead, they reveal God’s grace in leading us to victory through Him.

Paul shares reassuring thoughts about God's unwavering love for us. He reminds us that nothing—neither time, spiritual forces, nor dimensions—can ever separate us from God's love. The verse ends with the comforting words "nor anything else in all creation," emphasizing that God's love is unfailing and permanent. This incredible love is grounded in what God has done through Jesus, giving us complete security that isn’t based on our efforts, but on God's steadfast commitment to us.

So today, walk in the victory that is ours, trusting that “all things work together for good, for those who love God”.

Heavenly Father, thank you for your unfailing love and the promise that nothing can separate us from your love in Christ Jesus. Help us to live with the knowledge that through your love, we are more than conquerors, bringing peace to our hearts. Amen.

Keep the faith,

Gene
