Need a Boost?
Rising in the morning is challenging, but being ready to tackle the day’s uncertainties is another. I came across research indicating that regular exercise—thirty minutes, three to four times weekly—enhances confidence in both men and women. This boost is attributed partly to exercise's role in strengthening, toning, and enhancing physical appearance and its impact on brain chemistry.
When we exercise, endorphins are released, and individuals generally feel more exhilarated. The heart rate rises, and neurotrophins are released, enhancing a person's alertness and focus. Since I’ve started waking up at 4 am to hit the gym, I genuinely feel better (aside from my meniscus, haha), and I find myself more focused, accomplishing more in the early hours.
For me, early morning exercise offers a chance to engage in conversation with the Lord during my commutes to and from the gym. After that, I return home to walk my dog. So, put on your walking shoes and dedicate time to converse with Jesus, no matter the hour. This practice will enhance both your physical fitness and mental clarity, but most importantly, the Holy Spirit will guide you and grant you the peace you need for the day ahead.
2 Timothy 1:7 states; 7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
Blessing of your journey,
Gene
