SUKKOT – Feast of Tabernacles, Booths
Lev 23:33-44
A remembrance of the wilderness wanderings.
God protected and sustained us in the
wilderness for 40 years. We can remember
that event by living in booths for 7 days.
The 8th day is called Sheminei Atzeret
The 9th day is Simchat Torah, the rejoicing in the Torah

The Temple Courtyard and surrounding structures were made up of polished white limestone. The courtyard was lit with tall lampstands with dozens of large wicks.
John 8:12 Later on Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. The one who follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
